When I was 17, I began finding mysterious bruises on my body. Within two weeks I began hemorrhaging. Rather quickly, my life became a story of illness, with pages filled with lessons learned during bone marrow extractions, hospital stays, blood transfusions, high levels of injected and ingested steroids and a diagnosis that was, at that time, rare.
I had immune thrombocytopenic purpura, also known as ITP.
So began my journey of nutritional and holistic healing. The creation of a healthier way of life. All of what I learned became the tools I still work with to improve the quality of my life, as well as the lives of those who seek my services and guidance.
Training includes a Certificate in Applied Positive Psychology (CAPP) from the Flourishing Center; Certified Health Coach (CHC); American Association of Drugless Practitioners, (AADP) Certification; Functional Nutrition training with the Integrative Nutritional Center; Reiki, Tuning Forks, Aromatherapy, and Thai Massage.
